We are happy to share the story of Man Maya Karki, a woman originally from Kathmandu, now living in Damak, Nepal. She was following a Hindu group called Sachai, which teaches many things that are not from the Bible.
About one month ago, Man Maya saw our TikTok Live where we were sharing the true message from the Bible. She was touched by what she heard and wanted to learn more. So, she connected with us and started asking questions about Jesus and the Bible.
For the past month, we taught her regularly and shared the truth about God’s love, grace, and salvation through Jesus. Slowly, she began to understand that what she was following before was not the truth. She saw the difference between religion and a real relationship with God.
Just two days ago, Man Maya made a big decision. She said she wants to leave everything she was following before and now follow Jesus. She believes Jesus is the only way and wants to live her life for Him.
Now, she has also introduced her daughter to us. We have started teaching her daughter too, and she is also learning about the truth from the Bible.
This is a beautiful example of how God can use even TikTok to change lives. Man Maya’s story shows that God can reach anyone, anywhere. When someone truly seeks the truth, God will lead them to it.
We thank God for Man Maya’s new journey of faith, and we pray that her whole family will walk in the light of Christ.
